Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Stepping Stone of San Diego. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities for which you may qualify. We invite you to review the complete description of the volunteer position for which you'd like to apply.

Stepping Stone of San Diego, Inc. values you, your skills and experience and your willingness to be of service. In employment, volunteering and providing services to our clients, we do not discriminate on any basis at anytime. We do ask that volunteers seeking to work directly with clients have a certification in their field of specialty and a thorough understanding of recovery.

The next step is to complete and submit our brief online application. After receiving your application, we will contact you with additional information about the program and orientation.

To maintain the highest levels of service to our clients and the community, Stepping Stone of San Diego, Inc. requires volunteers to participate in a fingerprint background check. This screening is done to protect our clients. We realize that people who suffer from addiction and are active in their recovery may have negative information that may appear in background checks. Background checks will be reviewed with each applicant and negative information that may be received is not an automatic refusal of your application.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us create and maintain a safe, comfortable and life-affirming place for all. For more information about volunteering please email:
